I learned right away down in Champaign that there is a lot of St Louis sports love. Went a bar expecting Blackhawks fans, and it was at least half Blues. Most of the state hates all things Chicago.

Next fiscal year starts 7/1. Budget proposal has $42.6B in spending and $37B in revenues. They are hoping the feds will fill that gap. You have to wonder if the revenue projection has any basis in reality.....
