Finally watched it. Enjoyed the hell out of it.

My son, at the end, "Where are the X-men?"

I didn't really have an answer.

It’s gonna be a while before the X men appear in the MCU. I’d guess maybe 4 or 5 years.

Hopefully, they can roll out Deadpool before that.

I am gonna guess, we are going in the direction of Secret Wars. So we will see the F4 sooner rather than later.

Finally saw it this weekend. Managed to make it all the way without finding out any spoilers except one. Saw a headline last month about how they are looking for a new Iron Man so figured that Tony died. But, never found out about Black Widow or Cap getting old.

Loved the movie, great wrap up to all that came before it. Just wish it had more Spidey, but did love that he got to use his instant kill feature on his suit.

Had no idea who the lone kid was at Tony's funeral and after reading that he helped Tony out in IM3 I still have no idea who that is or have any recollection of that.

Did Gamora disappear along with Thanos and his army???

Gamora is alive.

She is pre GOTG vol. 1 Gamora, so she has no idea who Quill or anyone else on the team is except Nebula.

I got that, but wouldn't she be affected by the same snap of the finger that turned Thanos and all his army into dust? She came to that time with him, right?

Try not to look too deep into a series of movies about super powered beings and aliens.

GotG 3 needed a storyline.

I think I read she is alive.

Idk if it was James Gunn or one of the Russo brothers, but I swear I read that some where.

It also gives them a where is Gamora plot line for the next GOTG movie.

Idk if this has been said before...I don't watch a lot of movies but one of these is on right now and I think captain America is boring and one dimensional. Worthless character.

He’s supposed to be one dimensional, but Evans does bring some depth to the character IMO.

But everybody around him is great or charismatic or good looking or bring something. He's just there, he's excruciatingly boring in everyway possible.

He’s really good in Snowpiercer and Knives Out for what it’s worth.

Age of Ultron didn't really do him justice. Try Winter Soldier.

Speaking of these multi-hero movies, whatever happened to the next Justice League movie that was supposed to feature supervillain Darkseid? I know the last one was a joke, but did that kill the sequel?

I’ll go to my grave thinking Infinity War should have gotten a best picture nomination, and Josh Brolin should have been nominated for at least best supporting actor for Thanos.

Expound. One of my favorites but curious why you think it should have been more awarded.

It was 10x better than Black Panther which was released that year, and was nominated for Best Picture.

Michael B. Jordan was the best thing about that movie anyway.

It was the culmination of 20 movies or so, and you could tell every actor really gave a fuck about their performance.

I agree with that much, but not sure either was best picture material.

Killmonger is a great character - I just think Jordan has kind of sucked outside of everything aside from the first Creed. The plot gave him cover but his acting blows (but I loved that movie).

Btw Chris Evans just resigned to play Cap in one or two more movies.

Good stuff.

His superior work was in Marcus Welby M.D.

Great casting for Cap, so that’s awesome.

Favorite MCU movie is prob Winter Soldier, followed by Infinity War.

Maybe

Maybe he's returning to play his first big superhero role from a huge failed franchise that Marvel is getting back and plans to reboot. Probably not though.

Infinity War?

The resolution is time travel.

This is why Martin Scorsese said what he did.

I mostly agree with Scorcese here. Whenever on is on in my house I say which one is this? Then I watch it for 5 minutes and think they are all the same. There are a couple of fun fight scenes but that's about it and there aren't really a lot of actors that I like anymore. I think movies have generally sucked for the last 20 years. I don't know if I could name a decade or time period that was great, but at least there was a point or some variety within them. I feel like it's all the same or something now. Just feels off. I used to love Star Wars they were my sick movies when I was little, I barely care about any of it now even the old ones. It was somehow ruined. Was there a time period you liked or where do you see it going now?
