If you are going to lose....might as well be like this. The pen got a night off. Underwood was outstanding in his 2 innings and will probably get some more important innings in the coming games. 6 strikeouts in 2 innings is pretty damn impressive. This clown show going on right now in the 9th will keep things extremely light in the clubhouse. Princess even hit a hr because there was no pressure.

Terrible tag by Caratini. Should have gotten the bare hand on the ball, in the mitt and then tagged the runner with both hands securing the baseball. Throw a shoulder into the runner while you're at it. Not too worried about Lester. he has had a few really bad games this season, but bounces back from them. He is getting near the end, so more of these each year should be expected. I think next year is the last on his deal, isn't it? It's been a solid investment. Bounce back tomorrow and take the series. The ball Almora dropped in the 2nd inning that wound up a triple.......disappointing. He could have and should have had that. Not an easy catch by any means. But one he needs to make. Especially when defense is his strong point.
