Sox aren't close to contending. Montgomery makes no sense.

Better starter than some of the White Sox options, and he is under control for 2 more seasons after this one. I could see why the Sox would take a flyer on him, but Castillo wouldn't have been the return.

I've been a Q guy for a while but outside of wins and losses I'm not sure how anyone could argue that he's been a better pitcher with the Cubs. He's been money down the stretch the past 3 years though. That's worth something. Probably not Jimenez though.
