well Blake came in to get the save today, but he couldn't finish it off.

no blown save though, Scioscia brought in the next guy who got the last out.

kind of odd for a guy to come into his own in his mid-30s. First came up to the majors when he was 27.

Why the vitriol? I think this thread was interesting enough. In retrospect, it sure does seem as if the Cubs should have hung on to Parker. Whistler, you keep on keeping on.
