After taking a look at that A's closer last night, I gotta say that the stuff that they use to mask out the drugs that these guys are taking now must really be working. If that guy was "clean" it would greatly surprise me. Did you see the veins popping out of his neck for cripes sake? The guy was RIPPED. And then we have Stone and friend talking about how much velocity he has gained after leaving the starting pitcher role. Listen, a guy might gain a couple of MPH on his fastball if he is a reliever but he won't be throwing 98-100 like this jasper was all the while he is getting older.

The A's throughout their history have had guys who juiced consistently and I'd bet this guy is just another in a line of them. It was also noticeable about the middle of their order hitters whose bodies resembled a casting call for superheroes.

Testing is still somewhat of a joke. They have to start testing 3, 4, and 5 year old samples. That's how long it takes to catch guys who have the money and the best chemists. It's how Armstrong got nailed.

Once again, looking at the A's line-up, I'd guess that at least five of those guys are big time juicers. I'd love to see what these guys look like on really hot days. Juicers really sweat on hot days. Wouldn't be surprised if we aren't going to see more heart attacks in the offing like that Angels guy who died a month or so ago.
