I remember hearing a story that the defense tied him up to a goalpost with athletic tape during his rookie training camp. Urlacher and Briggs and all them never liked him (especially given that they weren't gonna let no offensive player come in and make it "their team" -- ask Cutler about that) so given Ced's seeming introversion/proclivities/whatever, that might have factored in to the whole bust thing. Obviously you can't blame it all on that, but it certainly didn't help things out when you have a seemingly-mercurial guy like Ced coming into a team where everyone loved them some Thomas Jones. The kid prolly never had a chance.
