Cease with 9k's and one walk. He's capable of being legit at this level.

Yeah. He's got the potential for sure of being very good. I do question why he struggles so often at the beginning of the game especially with his breaking pitches. I think that he maybe needs to warm up a bit longer and try to find his release point in the pen instead of on the mound.

I also like how it appears that he and Giolitto are supporting each other along with McCann. Hopefully when a couple of the injured guys come back, that they can also learn by association. I cannot stress enough how I have been amazed at how McCann has taken over this pitching staff.

ANd something that hasn't been mentioned a lot is the big time improvement in the bull-pen in the last month or better. Marshall has been great as has Bummer, Colome has been consistently light out and a couple of the other guys look like they are figuring things out also. Yeah sometimes, these guys all look shitty at one time or the other but over-all, the pen, especially the back-end of it looks a lot better.
