I think the real question is if we put gardinara on our radio from 6-10 will the show get better?

I voted no; I never found Mike entertaining or interesting to listen to. He is the loud mouth at the end of the bar that , after five minutes, you simply want to shut up and leave ( in the order).

I used to be able to listen to Mike years ago, when he was somewhat entertaining. The show now is just about unlistenable... takes no more than 5 minutes for me to say "what an idiot" (about either Mike or Fred or Jen) and hit the dial. Don't see him (or his ego) able to go back to being something worthy of listening to.

This poll is not working out too well for Mikey at all is it?

Obnoxious, loudmouth, nonsensical, moron schtick that Mike so naturally deliveres has a time and place on sports radio and radio in general. It's best when delivered in moderation. Mike on radio is like salt in cooking. Right now the only ingredient in the dish are big 3 lb boxes of coarse kosher salt. The serving of salt should be brought down to a pinch or two while other tasty ingredients are added.

I'm impressed that just over a quarter of board voters actually want Mike back. I vaguely recollect his salad days, but in my view, the wilt set in long ago, and is total and irreversible.

Yeah I had to roll 3. The guy does represent a voice beyond his own (for better or for worse) and i don't mind him paired with someone decent. Douggie, Hub, OB, among others I think could make it work

I bet Rock voted no so he can finally escape the purgatory that is the Mike North Mourning Show.

I voted no only because I want ESPN to hire North for the 12-2 slot and bring some local programming to lunch. I just turn the dial to SCR and listen to Murph between commercials now.

Not only NO but HE)) NO! It was never Anne's fault that the show stunk - I missed all the regular bits and his stupid political take and sexist remarks got to even ME! His ego is just way to big and needed to be brought down.

I will NOT miss him one bit - maybe now I can listen to a local sports station and get (OMG) SPORTS!

p.s. bring back Anne and Jig man and get the show moving in the right direction again. I miss jagbag too.

Now, get rid of MURPH and the 2 hour commercial for Browns Chicken and I'll start listening then too!!!!!
