I would add Bernstein in this too. A list of people at CBS we can contact about this would be good. DeCastro didn't want the on air personalities to attack callers. It's one of the reasons Bernstein was demoted. I imagine he feels the same way about doxxing and online harrassment of listeners.

At the lateness of the hour they're almost all certainly bonuses. No one's hitting the phones or the pavement to sell The Julie DiCaro Show, weeknights from 10 to midnight unless the Cubs are on or her connective tissue aches or she's doing a seminar/demonstration on how to assert yourselves in sports media at a women's shoe store.

As for boycotting, no thanks. You can boycott by not listening. I'm not interested in doing what Media Matters and others do. Yes, she's a bad person and so is Bernstein, but there's no law against being a douchebag.

Bernstein also demanded that a mob go after Score listeners. He shouldn't be let off the hook. Now families and little league teams have to worry about a mob personally and professionally attacking them. No one should have to deal with that.

Your silence is emboldening them and giving tacit approval to their bullying tactics. She planned on doing this with us last summer but she was shamed. We tagged Mitch and the Score in the chain too.

Boycotts aren't going to help. I think about a third of this board practices law, right? Can't we just get someone to write a letter informing Mitch or DiCastro that their hosts are acting inappropriately in a manner that may be consistent with harassment, including individuals you believe to be part of the board?

so the point of this thread wasn't to actually do any sponsor (dis)engagement, but to have a thread on the front-page that ruffles Julie's feathers when she peaks in to check up on her other thread. cuz two dozen posts in and, as far as i can tell, no one seems to have any clue who sponsors her show.

There's no law against hitting her pocketbook to make the point that her doxxing activities are inappropriate.

You are currently a sponsor on WSCR 670-AM. Part of what your advertising dollars support are the online harassment of listeners from Dan Bernstein and Julie Dicaro. These individuals continually employ their thousands of followers to find out and release personal information about I individuals they do not agree with. This "doxing" has in cases caused death threats to innocent men and women. Is this America? I thought this was America!

If you wish to continue to sponsor this type of reckless behavior, our organization will have no choice but to publicly call for a boycott of your organization.

Let's send a message to these individuals that their actions have consequences.
