Of all the options at 2B, Russell is probably the one with the most overall ability/ upside. He looks like a guy who wants to claim the spot tonight. I hope Maddon gives him the chance to convince him that it's he who ought to play there. nice to see Baez breaking out of his slump......at least for a night. Hoping it's more than that. Darvish back to good Darvish is sure nice.

Russell will probably be non-tendered in December. Can't pay that much money for him.

that was a pretty big win

Darvish was on the ropes but with the help of some nice defense, they couldn't put him away and he got the win. The situation could have been much different for him.

Robel Garcia is still tearing up AAA pitching. But he was figured out in the majors and needs to continue making adjustments.

Good thing I’ll be up north after 5:00 tomorrow. I’ll miss that drought.

Pretty safe to say Syndergaard does not have it going on tonight.

Leave it to the Cubs to make a 10-1 game into a nail-biter.

Have a game Baez. Get your head out your ass already. Those at bats were brutal and the error cost the team a run.

Strop?

I have zero faith in Kimbrel. Walk, mash his fastball or swing at crap 3 feet out of the zone.
