Road Warriors are solidly #1, but I also enjoyed Arn Anderson/Tully Blanchard and Steve "Dr. Death" Williams/Terry Gordy.

I'm surprised you didn't say Crusher & Dick the Bruiser.

I am good with Road Warriors being #1, and I loved them. But gotta recognize the Rock n Roll Express and the Midnight Express as they were amazing as well. That time period was so good for tag teams.

Loved the Dudley Boyz, but they were not even the best tag team of their own era

Agree with this.

Dudley Boyz might be top five, but closer to five than one

There is just no way they are top 5. Too many other great teams.

Edge/Christian and the Hardy Boys were better teams in their own era.

I'd place the Steiner Brothers ahead of the Dudley's or the Hardy Boys.

Pre Big poppa pump days of course

No doubt. Early Steiners were great.

There's a reason it's called the "Road Warrior pop".

Early Steiners, Rock n' Roll Express, Midnight Express, Von Erichs, Freebirds (Buddy and Gordy), Gordy and Doctor Death, Arn and Tully all greats as well.

And of course the Good Brothers.

Buddy was always the weak link of the Freebirds to me.

Depends on your perspective. If you are talking soley inring then Michael Hayes was the weak link. But he brought so much else to the team that it is hard to consider him a weak link. Buddy was way better in the ring than Hayes...but really both pale in comparison to Bam Bam Gordy
