Joe with Larry Tuesday was my all-time favorite crazy Joe bs session. Joe praises Heyward in the midst of a 0-28 hitless streak for the feel, presence, and will to win he brings. Joe and Larry bring up the Cubs are 22-10 with Heyward leading off. They fail to bring up leading off he's 147 252 302 554 in 2019. Joe talking about Heyward says he's not into the numbers thing. He's been going into horrendous month long or longer slumps his whole time with the Cubs long before his leadoff stint. He has some of the worst slumps I've ever seen where he totally sucks. This year instead of rebounding into mediocrity, this year he's ripping the cover off the ball.

I predicted this on June 28, 2019. He was red-hot tearing the cover off the ball. His numbers were swaying some to praise him.

He ended up . 251 ba, 62 RBI for 2019

This year was different..he was hitting the ball hard..Madden fucked him all up.

I think he finishes around .280 with 75 rbi if Joe didn't pull that shit.

I'm lovin' it when a Cub is interviewed. They're coached up big-time. Heyward especially. He's hemming and hawing uncomfortably. The hosts have to lie through their teeth. These are the same hosts who say he's bad money, now obligatorily fawning over him. It's wonderful radio theater. Heyward makes a point. Then goes over a laundry list of what he didn't mean by the point. Then each question he does the same regime. The onslaught of Theo blunders have been a blessing for Heyward. They've taken a lot of the heat off of him.
