I know Mike's such a "stand-up guy", so I'm sure he's already apologized to Teddy for the false e-mail posting? Like he said yesterday "I've got nothing personally against Teddy, but he's in the wrong on this one and he's going to have to pay the consequences". (Paraphrased)

I think he also said he wanted to "kill" teddy, not literally mind you, but that "other way".

There was no apology, but he said he's done with the whole thing and won't talk about it anymore. Both he and Teddy "got their licks in", and he likes Teddy, but he's not gonna talk about this anymore. He took the "truth" down from his website because he made his point.

So after ranting and raving like a manic, calling Teddy and his editor journalistic frauds, making threats, and saying he's going to get Teddy fired...two days later he meekly announces he's done with it and won't talk about it anymore. That's quite a change.

If by making his point he means he was inaccurate, ineffective, and made complete fools out of he and his team, then yes, he certainly made his point.

I hope he's called on the carpet on this by somebody with some stroke, because you should not be able to do what he did on Monday without there being some consequences.

I can not believe they would bring him back - if they did, management should have the leverage to bring him in at an "affordable" price

I didnt check in today to hear what he said but I gotta believe that management told him to shut the fuck up. Some has to be telling him he's making a fool out of himself more so than normal. This scenerio is exactly what I've been waiting for since the mid 90's.

He has got to go now.

But even according to Teddy G., the Score has made him a lowish, short-term offer. Since he will likely receive no competing offers, he will surely take the money that's on the table.

I did hear North say that he wasn't going to talk about it after today.

Funny how his tone changed after being made to look foolish.

I used to think that North's success was a pretty cool thing (hounding Score bosses who came into his stand, buying his own airtime early on), but he has totally shit the bed on this one. Any respect I had for him is gone.

Time for bed, Mikey.

So for 2-3 weeks it is the priority and now nothing? comical by itself.

Thank you for all the numerous comments, negative and positive, about our fact vs fiction posting. Many people wanted to know why we took it down after only one day. Simple. We made our point- time to move on.

We made our point based on our adjusted ratings according to Mike and a fake email.

I bet Lucky is the smartest on in that house.

That quote is great!!

He should have said the truth--
The "case" he presented made him look even dumber than he probably is.
Maybe the Trib lawyers threatened him.

I only started listening to North when he was with Buffone, so I'm not really that broken up about it.

In all honesty, there is no waay he can stay now. He's acting like a child now and embarrassing the station. What if he gets a shitty deal and ends up stayin? Now what? He's happy in the mid days making less? Doubt it. More likely he'll continue to bitch and whine about his bosses and make excuses on why his morning show failed while putting down the new morning show when they succeed. Again it will be everyone else's fault. He will be more of an outcast than he is now.

Now more than ever I feel Norths reign of terror on the airwaves is over. At least at the SCORE.

no no score is doomed not trib lawyers ...you have to get it right

Teddy "MO" GREENstein called his Godfather ..Sam Zell and Sam called his Consigliere... dat guy called Mikey and asked him if he knew about "sleeping wit da fishes" or "how bout an Italian neck tie ? ya know like the one we gave to Clemenza"

Saw the Irish kid saw da light and removed the web info and put a gag in it ...

I ain't sayin ...I'm just sayin

I thought Clemenza died of natural causes resulting in Frankie "Five Fingers" Pantangelli being granted control of the turf. The Risotto brothers tried to move in on the turf resulting in Frankie's visit to the Corleone compound in the Sierra Madres to ask for permission for the hit. Frankie was told "no" as Michael had business he was trying to complete with Hymen Roth, who was protected by the Risottos. That night, a hit was attempted on Michael. Michael thought it was Frankie (due to Michael disallowing his hit on the Risottos) but in reality it was Roth (due to Michael putting a hit on Moe Green).

A couple of minor corrections:

It's Frankie "Five Angels" Pentangeli - the nickname is a translation of
his last name.

It's Rosato brothers - Risotto is a yummy rice dish.

And it was Michael who visited Pentangeli who had taken over Michael's
father's old house after Clemenza died. They were in the room that used
to be Vito's study.

Wrong on #3. Don't you remember Frankie coming up during Michael's son's first communion. "Morte!"

Michael visited Frankie in the house after the attempted hit on Michael.
