Collins will never make it as a catcher. His footwork is terrible and he cannot knock down a pitch in the dirt worth a shit. And he doesn't look like he can hit major league pitching. Why they started him against a lefty is anyone's guess?

I just do not like him at that position, Nardi. His fundamentals are for shit. I don't blame the stolen bases against him because they were the pitcher's fault but he is very clumsy behind the plate. I really question why they put him at catcher. To me, he's at first base/DH or nothing. Its going to be how he hits down the road that will decide his fate because he sure won't be able to hang on in the majors as a catcher.

Yeah. I cannot wait until next season when this line-up gets filled in with Robert and possibly Mendick. I expect Jimenez to have at least 42-45 HRs next year. He may well hit more and challenge for the Home run lead in all of baseball. His bat is like a stick in his hands and he has to have one of the quickest swings in baseball for a guy his size.

Probably but he hasn't done it at all this year to my knowledge. I see him at 2nd base or as a super utility guy. He's got a nice short stroke and is strong for his size.
