So let's take away opportunities from guys like Tarik Cohen, and not have top black players go to the best schools in the country. That's simply an embarrassing take that Richard Spencer would endorse.

I like this idea.

She isn’t “right” you addled old fool. And you didn’t even send your own son to a HBCU.

Guess what you racist cocksucker, I didn't send him aywhere. He made a $35k+ a year choice. And please do tell how she is wrong, other than not thanking the right people on a regular basis as you believe all negroes should.

Your true colors shining through- bitter and hateful. Sorry you are too immature to understand previous conversations about the context of words so you have to carry on with behavior like this.

Hill's entire column is an embarrassment to the Civil Rights Movement. Mainstream colleges are not "white" schools. They are open to everyone. Illinois has a black president who is handsomely paid. If she so concerned with previous policy at universities then quit the Atlantic and go write for The Root. She's a hypocrite, an idiot, and she's shaming black student athletes for social media attention.

Always nice to have the fan of rapists here to bigotsplain to and judge the negroes.

It worked in reverse for the Blue Demons--at least in terms of several stars choosing to go elsewhere.

You are the poster child for showing that racism is dead in America. In other times they would dress you in clown clothes to entertain people. Now you, a functional idiot, gets to be a lawyer and drool on paperwork until retirement.

If it happened, DePaul might have a chance at going to the tourney again

Her point is pretty foolish and shortsighted and is not the correct way to go about resolving the issues she is trying to address.

You still haven't addressed my assertion about her being right. But that would give your dull head aches. Which surprises no one here given your thoughts on rape. Or your fears about the the negroes.

Just quit again. That was your best move.

What's-their-name went to Howard. I don't like to write about them because their pronouns are "they/them" and I always forget their name. Not sure if it is the same Howard, because this is in the States. Never gonna give you up....

"Best schools" is mostly subjective and when it comes to education a person can attain that anywhere.

As far as athletics goes the athletes are the ones that make things go. Not the school. If the top athletes begin to attend HBCUs then the HBCUs become the dominant force in college sports.

That's just it. She is just another extremist minority person who thinks any black/white issue will be resolved by calling each other racists. She says this shit the same way that AOC and Omar do and it is to get attention and appear to be somekind of "leader" in minority issues.

I doubt that big time. Her salary to begin with was one of the lowest on that piece of shit network. Her rating were awful. She probably got a year's pay or something, maybe less.

Original thoughts anyone? You state the same B.S. each and every time.

Blacks claim to be victims while its white people who are the ones being victimized.

Why not simply try and address the actual point for a change.

There is some legitimacy to what she is saying.

She didn't touch on the real reason that the truly best players often attend bigger schools. It isn't because they are the "best". Harvard's basketball and football teams are non factors for the most part. It isn't because of the "lure of the crowd" either. Its because they pay. HBCUs don't have the werewithal to pay players. Not major money anyway. Kentucky can and so can Duke.

I laugh whenever i hear about kids choosing Duke and Kentucky because of the magnetism of Coach K and Cal having sat down in their living room and wowing them with their stale ass sales pitch.

Malarkey! They run the bag and have been running the bag for years. Thats why they acquire top kids year in and year out.

As such they are lauded for doing things that are illegal while the guys (HBCUs)that actually play by the rules are criticized for running bush league programs.

It's funny how North Carolina can issue completely phony grades and get caught w/o issue, but the low revenue schools continue to get all the scrutiny. If A&T did what Chapel Hill did, the NCAA would still be publicly flogging them.

When i attended Grambling there was a high school kid, my guy! (Gerald Honeycutt) that attended Grambling High who was a top 10 player in the country and a McDonald's All American. He often times would go to the local rec center with us to hoop when he was in high school. It was sort of surreal sometimes how he would be in there hooping in the gym of a University that had absolutely no chance of recruiting him. The funny thing is that the coaches of Grambling knew they had no shot as he was essentially a pro. He ended up signing with Tulane. We all thought LSU or Arkansas but he chose Tulane instead.
Ended up being a 2nd round draft pick of Philly and played a little in the league before checking out after a few years.

It would take generations for this plan to work. The major conferences have built up fan bases over about 100 years. They aren't suddenly switching to being a Grambling fan because they become a top 25 team.

College sports all but require unbreakable fandom based on where you or a close relative went to school. After that it becomes mostly about local schools or state pride. If Zion had went to Grambling I would root for my team.to beat them rather than switching allegiance. They would get a decent TV contract but it is the fan bases that drive contracts and not results.
