Yea, he had the book but we all laughed because he was a freak. At no point in his Bulls' run was he bigger than MJ.

Sure, people would hold up the signs asking for his jersey in 96 but only after he was known to throw his jersey in the crowd post game or suspension.

What started as a great documentary about a great player with personal demons who became...eccentric (queer) turned into a propaganda film about how the queerest of the queers was more popular than mj through the 3 peat.


Usually love 30 for 30 and the first hour great but the rest is propagandist bullshit.

i didn't think any of it was great. my one recurring problem with 30 for 30 is how pretentious it gets sometimes with its filmmaking choices. did we need the broadway musical stylings of "oklahoma"?

i only watched up until he joined the spurs. the most interesting part of his life that i didn't know about was when he lived with that hillbilly family in oklahoma. that was interesting. he was almost like the michael jackson of basketball, sans the sexual allegations.
