I am aware of vaping and I and some other guys used the method to quit or reduce smokes and nicotine.


WTF in the last week because like 5 kids died vaping out of 340 million people this week and they had THC in them.

Why does the whole nation freak for less that a hundred people?

Why does the POTUS even take that question?

Derno, I'm not a big time science person like PittMike or Neil DeGegrassi Tyson Junior High but "inhale combusting plastic...deeply, many times a day" sounds like something a youtube comment troll might suggest to someone with whom they disagree.

There's so much bullshit coming out about vaping. Too much of anything is bad. It takes a shitload of vaping to do bad. It's way better than smoking. Leave people alone.

well....my older son does it. My step daughter does it. As with most late teen / early twenty somethings, my wife and I are morons and don't know anything.

Politely explaining that inhaling any kind of fume from antifreeze just doesn't seem to be a concern to them. I finally said....You're right....I'm just a grown ass man with an education, a good career, and a decent home. What would I know!

This vaping thing is crazy. Nobody seems to know if its truly 'safe' or not. I am so glad I never started smoking, or vaping, or any sort of tobacco/nicotine habit.

I enjoy a cigar every now and then...maybe 10 total in a year. That's it. And if I never had another one, I would be just fine.

Of course it's a concern. Just like swallowing ethanol(booze). Ingesting any man made concoction is a concern. Fact is, vaping is safer than cigarettes. Obviously, if people go off half cocked making their very own concoctions, that's a problem that needs to be addressed. Otherwise, irresponsible people will be screaming, "Hey, quit inhaling car accidents" and that will grow into one of the many of Society's Panics.

It has been around for a long time now. There seems to be some more activism against that is reacting to more recent occurrences of troubles. That leads me to believe that there is a newer reason for illness. Not the "popcorn lung" that has been known about a long time. Either the younger people using these Juul types way more than ever or the THC vapes I would think.

As for cigarettes it is pretty widely documented the additives and misc carcinogens in them. I feel safe thinking they are worse.

In my opinion the really big vape setups that make those giant clouds are quite dangerous due to the batteries exploding. That is known. I haven't heard much about similar with smaller Juul types but there is likely some danger.

I am not a hero for vaping it was just a tool I needed to get away from the cancer sticks or others the snuff etc. I find the recent outrage and stories odd is all. Likely because kids I guess?

Your links I looked at. So yeah, I can see maybe inhaling vaporized vegetable oil might clog up a couple things.

Never let it be said some more information on subjects will go on deaf ears. I try to use common sense. What is worse? sucking smoke from dried chemical laden leaves lit afire, or sucking vaporized vegetable oil? Common sense says the former is worse but obviously both activities don't make a whole bunch of sense.

Just smoke the green stuff.
