Solid albums throughout, great albums throughout. Door to Door, even though it kinda sucked, had some solid stuff on it. But by then it was over.

Ricky O. would later put his prints all over Weezer's debut album as its producer.

We lived in the city and didn't have cable, but I always liked their videos when I saw them. "Hello Again" always made me laugh.

Your list is missing arguably the best three American bands.

I learned the basics of the drums by playing along to "Just What I Needed" over and over. It was perfect - had to come in at the right moment, basic 8th note rock beat, fun little drum fill and then David Robinson displaced the backbeat to 1&3 and I was like WTF. Tasty drummer.
