Sympathy.

Sympathy is great and all, but who wants to deal with the blowback when he ultimately fails again and you are the one who hired him.

That statement has not really changed at all. Takes more than one overachieving season to change a culture.

I really don't think bringing Hue in as OC is as bad as everyone else seems to. His track record there is still pretty solid and the only other coach who's overseen an 0-16 season immediately went back to producing results as a DC afterwards.

Now the Bengals considering him for head coach? That definitely deserves to be mocked.

I wonder why you chose to go with an odd 18 years back instead of a more traditional block of time like 10 years or 25 years.

I'm in marketing. Awkwardly selected sets of data stick out like a sore thumb.

I do. Nagy is closing quickly though.

Still think McCarthy is the best coach in the division? :D

Since 2000 is a common way to select data. It's also 19 years since this year was included.

If you want to make it an even 20 years then the Vikings add 1 playoff appearance and a 10 win season. That doesn't exactly give them a massive advantage over the Bears.

I gotta admit that watching Bear and Viking fans slap fight over who has had more historical success is a pretty good consolation prize as a Packer fan during a terrible year.

I think Bears fans know the results are subpar though. That's the major difference.

There's at least a non-zero chance that Nas believes you guys have won every Super Bowl since he was born, but other that I would generally agree with you.

Ironic coming from a fan who's NFL team is getting publicly rejected by a mediocre big 10 coach.

Not sure you know what ironic means champ. It's used incorrectly in this context.

Takes more than one fluke play in a Divisional Playoff game to change the culture as well.

Although throwing a boatload of cash at Kirk Cousins seems to have jump started the change up there

For fuck sakes they had back to back hall of fame qbs come through in 30 years and have 2 titles. Has a franchise lost more playoff games in 30 years than the packers. We all know the bears have sucked for a while. Way to squander true talent. You are basically the colts but outside in much worse weather.

Give me 1 historic title and if this bears team wants to make it two in forty years then so be it. Guess the fuck what, we’d have as many titles as you fucks.

Tldr fuck the packers and their homely woman.

That interception in the end zone late. It appeared to me he was trying to throw it away and didn't have the arm strength.

It appeared to me that he was a fucking moron on that play.

He did throw it off his back foot so you may be right. But there are other ways to throw the ball away than the back of the endzone.

The whole game he looked like Bronco Peyton Manning. Vikings are another team where the QB is a detriment. They were the superior team yesterday and by himself, Cousins snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.

He sucks. It's going to be fun at the end of the season to argue who's worse...Cousins or (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky.

No chance, the most likely scenario is them picking up the 5th year option and riding that till the end.

The $140 million extension is already done. They are just waiting for Mitch to finally have a good game to announce it.
