When I first heard of it I thought it was stupid. Then I found out that Saved By The Bell was coming back and I already sent Comcast a check for $150.

i think they want to reboot "the office" too.

It's not really Zack Morris if it's not Mark Paul Gosselaar and he has not been approached.

They have to wait for his show to be cancelled.

The premise sounds goofy.

"When California governor Zack Morris gets into hot water for closing too many low-income high schools, he proposes they send the affected students to the highest performing schools in the state – including Bayside High. Why would they reboot Battlestar? The last reboot from Ron Moore was great. It's not that old.

Ron Moore's podcasts on his Battlestar shows, glass of whiskey in hand, just watching the show and talking about what did and didn't work was one of the really early 'casts that hooked me on podcasts. They were fantastic and a really honest, interesting view of how these types of productions are made.

Also, he had a lot of construction going on outside his house.

Highly recommend those podcasts if you do a re/watch of Battlestar.

I really enjoyed it. It builds and is a pretty intricate plot. Even my wife enjoyed it and she's not a Sci-Fi type usually.

I wasn't thrilled with the ending (others were) but, at the time, it was really different and I would bet it still holds up pretty well.

Moore's podcasts as a companion really improved the experience for me.

I generally am too impatient to deal with podcasts between episodes while watching or rewatching a show but I always read reviews for each episode in between. I miss a ton of shit regularly. Maybe it’s because I’m stoned a lot of the time.

If you have any interest in "the making of..." in terms of TV/Movie production, it's really very good.

Maybe I'm a little biased because I used to do a bit of that but I still think it is interesting.

It's essentially a DVD commentary on every single episode.

I watched it when Netflix first started its streaming service. Got all the way to the last season and didn't start it.

If it makes you feel any better I probably consume a lot more illegal drugs and have a vastly inferior bank account. But for real, you should try the drugs. Kind equalizes our situation imho
