I thought that was interesting. Why can't the other players on offense tell Nagy these things?

I bet his teammates hate when Mitch constantly over throws guy who are open downfield.

I said in one of these threads that this has the potential to turn into a 2004 Cubs scenario with a mediocre record and infighting between everyone. Unless Mitch is a complete bust and/or moron, it appears that potential is still there.

I think some people are locked in on (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky sucking. They want to be right more than they want the Bears to be good. They'll either complain or dismiss his performance.

GM's of EVERY team miss on first round players. How many great or HoF players have the Patriots drafted in the first round during their 20 year run? The key is to not suck draft players for consecutive years. The Bears stretch with Emery was AWFUL. Pace has changed that.

Phil Emery actually wound up being pretty damn good at drafting players in the first round. McClellin was a bust but he nailed the Long and Fuller picks.

It gets uglier when you look past that though. Way uglier.

I want Mitch to throw for more touchdowns this week than you and I do, Nas. So far this season, the three of us are tied in that category.

development has peaks and troughs. (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky is cursed for not being Mahomes.

Unless he wins multiple SB's he'll always get beat up here for that.

The offense is on pace to have 8 turnovers for the season. I'm with you on offensive production but taking care of the ball also gives the Bears a chance to win. We just had a guy who was a turnover machine. There are still positives for Mitch despite his regression.

Then lets see some of those positives in Washington. So far, Mitch has made one great play this season. One, that's it. Can't get to the playoffs much less a Super Bowl with that kind of ineffective QB play.

I'm with you, but that 1 great play helped them win their only game.

And if Mitch had one great- or even just good- throw on Sept 5th, the Bears would likely be 2-0.

He had multiple good to great throws in the Packers game.

Multiple good and multiple great throws would have lead to more than 3 points.

So you didn't watch the game. He made multiple good to great passes to Allen Robinson. They don't always lead to touchdowns or wins. IIRC after one stretch they ended up 1st and 40.

Did you watch the game? Did you see Mitch miss open guys, have happy feet, and look lost on certain plays? I sure did. I also saw a few good throws, not MANY. "Multiple great" throws like you said Mitch had would have lead to more than three points. Of course not every good/great play results in a touchdown, but if there are multiple ones in a game they lead time TDs.

Look, I hope Mitch goes to Washington and throws for 340 yards and 4 TDs. I definitely think he has that in him somewhere, but he couldn't be playing further from that right now. Washington has given up nearly 900 yards and over 60 points this season. If Mitch can't get it together this week, it could be a long season.

You said that he made 0 good throws against the Packers. I simply said that he had multiple good to great throws. Now that you've had time to think about it it appears that you agree with me. You also saw a few good throws.

The sky isn't falling yet my friend. Keep the faith. You said that you were going to give him 6 to 8 more weeks. Don't make your mind up already.

The difference between the Packers and Bears currently is that when Rogers through a duck into the end zone his guy caught it against a backup S but when Mitch did it the backup caught it.

Rodgers threw a ball up high in to the endzone to Jimmy Graham, who's 6'7'' and one of the better jump ball catchers in the league still, who was being guarded by a safety 7 inches shorter, it wasn't exactly difficult to know who was gonna win that one. AND it was a free play

Mitch stared down his WR to the point where Amos, who was on the other side of the field, sprinted over and easily intercepted a pass that the WR never had a chance on.

Yeah, not much difference there.

Forgive dolphin. He still thinks Fuller should be running free after that INT in Denver.

When do we get to talk about how obviously Rodgers is in decline and how much more that matters to the Packers than Mitch sucking does to the Bears.

I talked about it all preseason. He's clearly lost a couple of steps in addition to being injury prone and a bad teammate.

Hes very average and if he gets much worse he'll be objectively bad. Even the big throw against the Bears was obviously less than he was capable of even in 2017. The injuries have clearly caught up with him.

Rodgers is very average? You’re handling this season even worse than I thought. If you tell me 5 QBs you’d rather have I will know you are lying about at least 2
