It would not be. Most people actually watch the games.

What can Mr. Randy Watson do without Hopkins? Do you know? Hopkins was responsible for 1/3 of his completions, nearly 40% of his passing yards and nearly half of his touchdowns. Considering how long Watson holds the ball even with Hopkins as a crutch, he would likely die without him or simply be Akili Smith.

You should watch Watson some time. You’ll see how silly your last post sounds.

It's becoming clear that you aren't watching him enough or you are a member of his ALS. I can clearly see that 1/3 of his completions, nearly 40% of his passing yards and nearly half of his touchdowns go to Hopkins. It doesn't take much effort to recognize that Hopkins is his crutch and to wonder how good he would be without Hopkins.

You think he would be Akili Smith without Hopkins. At that point there's nothing left for me to respond to except to advise you to watch more games to avoid saying silly things like that.

Be honest, FF. If I had told you the Weds before that game that the Packers were only going to score 10 points, you probably would have figured it was a loss, correct?

I know I would have bet the farm on a Bears win had I been told that.

That's not necessarily a problem. When you have a superstar on the field youre supposed to feed him the ball. When Marshall was here I doubt you complained about Cutler throwing every pass to him. There are plenty of examples of good WRs suffering because the QB is too inept to give them the damn ball. Keyshawn reference deliberate. Also Larry Fitzgerald after Kurt Warner.

Probably, but they've all played three games since then. It's time to start readjusting expectations. I didn't know the defense would be this good this year. Not used to seeing that as a GB fan.

They haven't been tested yet. I'll give them this: they are indeed shutting down mediocre offenses. I'll even say the Vikings may be slightly better than mediocre only because of their rushing attack and the threat of the WRs. At the very least they're doing what a good defense is supposed to do. Let's see how they fare against a better class of offenses.

They also lead the league in turnovers and pressure rate. There's no qualifying statements needed. They have been great this year.

Does Dante Culpepper work better for you?

When you have a generational talent it makes your job easier. Even with that generational talent Watson was only marginally better than (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky last year. The fact that no other player on the Texans had more than 32 receptions makes it clear that Watson is lost without his crutch.
