Probably the least interesting sports news I have ever heard.

This is why nobody cares about out of season NBA, yet out of season NFL can dominate the airwaves.

Your level of disinterest is evident in the fact that you posted less than 2 minutes after this thread was started.

Yup. Not even enough time to read the article.

They stated that they won't list weights because of the fluctuations in them.

Wait til Bulls fans find out that Wendell Carter is only 6'8 and not 6'10 as listed.

It would be more interesting if they made them post what brand of coffee they drink and who the correspondence they read is from

huh? Off season NBA dominates the airwaves more than any other sport including most sports in season press. For instance, I guarantee the NBA made more headlines this summer than MLB and NFL put together.

The best part of this rule is now Kevin Durant will be listed as a 7 footer and he hates being called a 7 footer.

Next thing you know they'll be making them disclose all their social media burner accounts.

This will have an impact on player evaluations and perceptions. Wendell Carter probably doesn't get drafted by the Bulls if it were known that he was only 6'8.

The players are measured at the combine by a neutral party and all get access to it.

I thought the NBA was the wisest league? Listing players exact height and weight seems like a slave auction to me. SAD !!

What is a party that isn't neutral considered to be?

I think Bulls management are incompetent buffoons, but I’m sure they knew how tall Carter Jr was before the draft.

Undoubtedly they did as the actual heights of players are known after the combine. Its just easier to sell him to the fans as a 6'10 Center than it is if he is a 6'7 or 6'8 Center. Thats all.

And I’m sure fans know everybody is 2 inches shorter than they’re listed.

Not in all cases. Probably not most. There are a number of guys closer than that to their actual Height. He was undersized for Center at 6'10. 6'8 is putrid for a Starting Center. Even in today's NBA.

They should all be measured while wearing Timberlands.
