I understand they love Montgomery. But they traded Howard before they had him.

I didn't understand it then and I still don't think it was the correct move.

If it was a money deal, where was the money spent that improved the team more than Howard being here?

It was a questionable hire when it was made and is not looking any better now.

At some level I think it was a favour to Howard so he could go have himself a bigger statistical season heading in free agency. I have enough faith in the Bears front office that I can safely assume they took the best deal available to them.

The bigger mistake is Mike Davis if you ask me. He's garbage.

I've always been a big Jordan Howard fan going back to college.

I get he may not fit every system but he has skills that will benefit a team no matter how you choose to utilize them.

For me, I just like to see him pound a defense.

I think from day one Nagy felt like Howard didn't fit the scheme but Howard has always been a good soldier so a lot of that angst between the two stayed beneath the surface. Its a failure of Nagy's that he couldn't find a consistent use for a player like Howard.
