He's going to be sitting for a long time after he slashed the ref when trying to slash Engelland

Look at 0:37 in the video to catch that the slash hits the linesman in the hip.

It should be at least a 10 game minimum, and I don't think it's even eligible for appeal.

Rough day at the office for ol' Moneyphone. That's an automatic five-game suspension, right? Vermette got five for much more incidental stick-on-ref contact than what Kane did.
