I do find it genuinely interesting that when I was growing up there was no funny conservatives, no Dennis Miller was not funny, and now the tide is quickly reversing.

Edit: Maybe reversing isn't quite the right word, Chappelle is obviously not conservative, but the more to the left you are in general the less funny you are and the less you can appreciate actual comedy.

If WaitingforRuffcorn posted a Chapelle's skit nearly verbatim on this board it would be met with pretty universal derision. You certily wouldn't be laughing.

Saying you laugh a comedy special is a pretty low standard. Basically it's saying I agree with challenging certain thoughts, but only if it's done by a black comedian during a bit. If anyone asked the same thing in a serious way then they violating some new truth.
