He got done real wrong.

I think he ended up being well compensated for his troubles.

Being a fat slob probably had nothing to do with it.

Maybe he dealt with stress by eating? According to Wikipedia...Jewell died August 29, 2007, at the age of 44. He was suffering from severe heart disease, kidney disease, and diabetes.

This film is likely to be a gem. A real diamond in the rough.

Damn. Right in his Hammerin' Hank year. To think he never knew his shoulder pad days, the placid Fencik and Plank years. My sense of loss is renewed.

Thank you. I think he's definitely in heaven, though; wrongly accused Christians get a little affirmative action, as it were. Pretty sure Jewell is a Christian name.

the worst parts of hell are reserved for the non catholic Christians. Unlike some, they had every opportunity to follow the true faith and actively rejected it.

Some would say that the comment above by good dolphin is biased. But those people are wrong idiots and they are stupid also.

The funny thing is that when I read Dante, it was all familiar to me. The imagery and rationales for punishment were still being taught by the nuns when I was in school. I think that tradition (for better or worse) is dying out now. My own kids who went to Catholic elementary school got none of that.

It's still the theology but ecumenism seems to be the teaching of the moment.

Is he really interesting enough to make a movie about? I'd rather pay to see IMU: Mecca Days and Dancing Gavin Nights.

Are you guys really defending idolizing graven images and worshiping Jesus's mom instead of the man himself? How can Catholics be Christian when they ignore the Bible that the religion is based upon?

I misspoke. The worst parts are for those baptized and educated in the faith who reject it.
