Why does the guy doing the Buffalo Wild Wings commercial say "RAWR!" at the end? I don't get the connection between that and BWW.

I’ve had enough of listening to radio hosts talk about Ozzie needing boner pills to give his wife a good rogering.

This. Watch. Tells. Time.

Is that Jesse Eisenberg doing the voiceover in those Apple watch commercials?

I know she's not hot but that woman gives me a rise when she says "use the cocktail sticks" in the English accent during that Gordon Ramsey commercial

It's either him or Michael Cera.
Either way, it's PTFB irritating.

No rise, but that commercial strangely tickles the hell outta me.

Just saw a commercial for Friday Night Smackdown where they show doctors in an operating room standing over the patient, pretending they are counting out a wrestler. WTF?

They are doing the Cena "You Can't See Me" gesture (making sure the patient is under).

Watching the Bears game yesterday a commercial raised my ire:

It's a cute holiday commercial with the girl who wants to be Santa. However, they show her on the street corner yelling out "Happy Holidays". WTF? Even if you want to completely pluralize someone with saint right there in his name, the traditional Santa she's emulating says "Merry Christmas".

Don't think it wasn't intentional, either.

Fuck you, company I don't remember.

It's a great holiday with wonderful pagan traditions. All religions should participate in the hoopla. It's good for business to be more inclusive than less.

I can get behind ecumenism for peace on earth and good will towards men even if it lasts just a month. However, Santa saying "Happy Holidays" is like Eddie Murphy's foreign exchange student saying "Merry New Year". It doesn't sound correct even if you are sanitizing Christmas of any religious meaning.

What is the point in saying "holiday" instead of "Christmas"? Everyone knows what holiday it actually is. If the corporate intent is to avoid offending people I suspect they may be achieving the exact opposite.

But the point of the commercial is that she wants to be Santa, not the New Year's baby.

Okay, I'm with you on "Happy Holidays" clanging from Santa Claus himself, but the happy-holidays issue at large is just low-grade culture war crap and not worth the fight.

My commercial complaint was particular.

I don't give a hoot if they showed some kid who wanted to be Hanukah Harry or Frosty the Snowman when he grows up saying "Happy Holidays"

I'm pretty sure that isn't what is meant by "holidays" though.

That may be, but I'm sure you understand why "Christians" of even of the most secular variety might be just slightly annoyed with the equation of their most important celebration with minor festivals and recently invented holidays.

But it's not secular Christians who are in such a state over this, it's been coming from the Christian Right, with signal-boosting courtesy of Fox News, for years.

The most important and joyous Christian holiday is Easter.

don't even get me started on the virtue signaling by prominently placing homosexual couples in commercials even though, at less than 5% of the population, statistically you aren't very likely to see one in everyday life

You're not counting the SIGNIFICANT portion of the population that's on the DL.

I'm not sure anyone is in "such a state" over it, but it is clear what it is.

The two commercials added to Karz for Kidz that makes me immediately change the station is the singing marcus by Goldman Sachs and the singing about poop charmin commercial. Oh and theres another on I just remembered... I GOT THE POWER! That commercial is straight up rage inducing.
