I am about 40min in, it is so so. I am not really a big fan of Jessie's storyline, so that might be why. Todd is fucking weird...

El Camino is a good (but not great) coda for Jessie's character. I'd watch it again.

I enjoyed it, even though Jesse wasn't my favorite BB character. I thought he should have tossed the Fiero into the deal- had to be worth the difference for a classic like that!

Agreed with most others here. I liked it but it wasn’t great.

I could’ve done with less flashback scenes and the fact that Todd is significantly fatter and older than the last time we saw him was a bit distracting.

I generally enjoyed the movie.

The thing I disliked the most was the diner scene near the end that really served no purpose, other than the obvious one.

Wasted opportunity. I like Gilligan - but was that really the best he could do with that?

I thought it was great, albeit Jesse sure seems to put down the gun a lot for a guy who was stuck in a cage for I don't know how long.

Love his eventual Raylan Givens-style drawdown move, though.

Can't get enough of Robert Forster. That guy is great - basically playing the same role he played in Jackie Brown (i.e. bad guy facilitator), but I love it.

I really thought Todd was going to buttfuck Jesse there. Though for sure that was coming.

I give it 5 out of 6 refurbished vacuum cleaners.

This is one of the few criticisms that I have of Better Call Saul as well. There's a scene where Victor and Tyrus are doing this drug deal and both of the actors have gained like 30-40 lbs, it just makes them seem less threatening. Same thing goes for Mike. In Breaking Bad he was the old guy who could still kick your ass, in all the prequel stuff he's just old.
