Common sense says that. I know ND says it recruits the same players as Georgia, Alabama, etc., but they seem a tad slower.

However, it's not like ND was 7-5 last year. And Georgia has lost some pretty big games as well.

Not a fan of ND's QB. I think that's the biggest difference.

I think the Irish go 9-3 this year. They lost some good talent to the draft and they don't have the depth of a Alabama or Georgia to recover that quickly.

Right on! I remember watching that draft like it was yesterday. All that offensive firepower he joined. Could have done without Jay Schroeder. If only he hadn't tore his ACL returning punts. I think he really lost some speed after that.

Really needed UGA to keep winning. This is the first time in a while I remember ND really pounding on the cupcakes. They’d usually look bored and then pull away in the 4th and make it’ll the score look better than it was. This year they’ve been finishing teams by halftime.
