Someday we might hear of refs betting on this game.

Agreed. Two game altering shit calls and a blown PI.

Yes that one too. Completely blown pass interference. Packers defensive backs were raping Detroit receivers all night and they didn't get called for shit.

Don't kick 5 FGs and you win easy. Can't blame it ALL on the refs.

You can when they actually do blow the game. That first no hands to the face call gave the Packers 20 yards plus a first down. They then scored a TD. The second one led to the win. Absolutely made the difference in the game.

Don't kick five FGs. Score TDs instead.

Thanks Ike, for making me feel better about the win. Your whining alleviates my guilt.

Lions twitter was certain the Lions would lose once they took a 2 score lead in the 4th.

While the win was terrible, the emergence of NFC North’s 2nd best WR (#1 = Adams) was glorious

Rodgers really played a hell of a game too. It’s annoying the refs took over the game.

Preston up to 2nd in the NFL in sacks...basically invisible

True. The 2 turnovers clouded the win. Catch/hang onto the ball & the refs aren’t the talk.

Between the INT and punt muff Shepard was absolutely brutal.

I didn't stay up for the 2nd half, but the officiating in the first half was unreal. On the 1st GB scoring drive for the TD, it was like Detroit had stopped them three times despite penalties that went GB's way, finally forcing the field goal. Then the refs decided, no not good enough, we're going call Detroit on a bullshit 12 men on the field penalty and let GB try again! I mean, you can't even make this stuff up. No one knows if there were actually 12 men on the field or whether the refs were seeing ghosts, because they never showed video of it.

From what I did see, the Lions clearly outplayed the Packers. But what has always plagued Stafford is that he couldn't put the ball in the end-zone enough. The TD drop in the first half was costly. That was the difference right there.

There certainly was 12 guys on the field, ESPN showed a still shot picture and counted all 12, Who You Crappin!!!

The 12 men penalty is inexcusable. Those two late hands to the face penalties, well those were brutal flags. But the lack of pass rush really killed the Lions.

You will be able to find an Allen Lazard draft analysis by me somewhere on the board from a couple of years ago. He was one of my guys.

That's it.

I know turnover margin is a great barometer for who wins games but I'd love some analysis of holding a team to field goals. It seems like that was the Lovie style of winning football: let the opponent go nuts between the 20s but hold them to field goals.

This is the real thievery. He gets an extra 2-3 seconds on every clock and seems to have accustomed his game to it. How difficult is it to look at the clock and it the ball isn't snapped when it ticks 0, throw your flag? It is an objective analysis.

The NFL is surely going to have a word with it's MNF broadcast partner. They really highlighted that last night.

It’s amazing that keen-eyed experts like you two guys can see something that the refs, opposing coaches and the QB himself repeatedly miss.
