Maybe he's just decided to disconnect in order to get well.

I’m sure he isn’t the only one who’s substance abuse is triggered by reading the politics section.

Another reason to lock or nuke that section. It only causes problems.

Agreed. Whatever is in the way of getting well, get rid of it.

Yeah me too. If so that is sad. If he is simply gone from the board I hope his alcohol related impending death story was his last great multish story on his just quitting here for good. If not, rest in power Leash.

No one is connected to him through social media, or did he delete his accounts?

Once again, I’m just concerned. It’s not anyone’s responsibility to check up on him.

I have his number and email address but if he isn't responding to people who he was still friendly with then I wouldn't try. He often deleted his social media accounts.

His LinkedIn account is still active and has changed during 2019.

I could try to call him or reach out to common industry folks. But if he wanted to talk to me, he would have responded. Maybe he needed to cut bait for his own health and sanity. I’ll respect his privacy. He knows where to find me, and I am willing to help any way I can.

He once paid me what I consider to be the sincerest of compliments on this board by saying I would give the shirt off my back to my friends. So Leash, if you need a shirt, mine would be too small for you. But pal, I’ll buy you one or three.

Good point. I dropped him a LinkedIn message just now.

It's too bad he needed to disconnect from (most?) of the board but I always liked him and wish him well. I could understand the need for distance.

When someone tells you to drink yourself to death over a political disagreement, it might be a good time to stay away as you adjust to not drinking.

He's on the fence. He wants to be a Never Trumper but his hate for liberals gets in the way.
