Just a little preditction here, North will be back tomorrow. The scores website has him there and it does show Mully and Hanley filling in today, so I assume this was a one day thing.

Rodeo, I don't think the schedule on the Score's web site means North will be back tomorrow.

Look closely. It has the Sox playing the Pirates this week. It's last weeks schedule.

They quickly changed the Monday portion of it to say Mully and Hanley. But the rest is last week's schedule.

Yea, I thought about that. I just have a feeling he will pop back for a day or two.

Why would they want him back on without a new contract signed? Won't he just resort to the same old negotiating over the air, browbeating management, and making public HIS spin on the events of the last few days? I can't believe they would want that to continue. Or will they be able to muzzle the great Mike North?

Don't be shocked if North remains off the air all this week while he ponders his next move. The schedule you're referring, except for today, is last week's schedule at 670thescore.com. I'm sure that'll be updated as soon as tomorrow. If you see North & Fred Huebner's pictures disappear completely from the Web site, then you know it's truly over for the former hot dog vendor.

Hey, you may scoff, but just remember, according to one of the great legal minds and thinkers of our time--a certain Mr. J. Rogers--if the R Kelly prosecution did as good a job of presenting their case as Team North did in that posting on his website, Kelly would have been convicted.

Unfortuently, North will be back . . . Mikey will eventually cave in to a lower salary since he will find that people willing to pay for his services are limited. The rumors of North heading th NYC have to be off the mark, if the dip shit can't get a job here, his hometown where he is the voice of Chicago, he would never be offered the type of money he would be looking for. His only hope for a competitive offer is if WLS decides to dump Don Wade and Roma (not sure even 890 is dumb enough to make that move)

So, lets enjoy a few days of (I hope) of Mulley and Hanley, but my money is on a North return on 7/7.

Actually I read where dumping Don & Roma is at least be considered for some point in the future. Not that I'm advocating anything.

In the segment I listened to during my drive to work, when they were going to commercial, Mully did not mention anything about filling in for the MNMS and said this is Mully & Hanley on the Score.

Although the latest Imus stuff is complete nonsense, it couldnt have come at a worse time for North. North, in my opinion, is way worse than Imus when it comes to sensitive subjects.

CBS does not want those kind of headlines in Chicago or worse yet NATIONAL.

Interesting that that's actually the picture he chose to go on the "official" announcement on northtonorth.
