Well, I guess I just don't give a damn. Show up and play. Guy could be a dead mute for all incare as long as he murders quarterbacks.

I used to be that way. I didn't care the Cutler wasn't a leader, but eventually thought about it enough and you need those types of people to be leaders on your team whether they want to or not. Part of leading is owning up to failure. He really should do that. Maybe a HOFer that he looks up to will pull him aside and say, by the way, you might want to think about how this affects your legacy.

Its a terrible look from Mack, but really I want them to win. I dont need to hear a word he says. Execute better and win a damn home football game against a backup QB.

I get it, Franklin. But I don’t think that’s possible at this point.

This team is done and Mitch is a broken man. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am.

This guy had a 6TD game last season. He went from lost to found. It's so weird that he completely regressed to worse than where he started. He clearly needed to work on his timing and touch on mid-range and longer passes...but he was looking competent at the end last season. What the fuck happened?!

This situation with Nagy also boggles. How can a guy talk a good game during the week, talk about balance, running more...then on game day just completely get caught up in the moment and forget everything he was going to do. This is week in and week out for a season and a half now.

It's fucking crazy.

What do you want him to say? That they're on the field 15 fuckin minutes more than the offense is? That because the offense can't move the ball the other team can just chip away slowly without making high risk passes? That what could be an amazing defense is being wasted by an incompetent boob who freaks out when the helmet radio cuts out?

I'm of the opinion that rarely does a player in any sport say anything worth hearing anyway. They only speak in cliches and generalizations that serve almost no purpose whatsoever. So who cares if he doesn't want to take an off the field beating after an on the field beating?

That wasn't just a loss. It was about the worst embarrassment hes experienced on any level playing the game.

Exactly. I wish more athletes would run out of the room after a loss OR a win because we learn nothing because they say nothing.

I think it’s fair to say with everything coming out this year Mack is a bad guy. It’s making more sense why gruden, Fangio, and his former position coach want nothing to do with him.

I thought Gruden didn't even talk to him?

Saying he's a bad guy because he didn't give out halloween candy is ridiculous.

Would rather fuck off to Denver to coach a hopeless team than stay with Mack and a historically great defense.

You don't think he did that for the money and recognition as a head coach versus a defensive coach who has to play second fiddle to the new up and coming coach?

He’s a coward for talking to the media after wins and ducking out after losses. He takes plays and even entire games off and fans blame it on he’s not in game shape. He’s been invisible as a leader during this tough season. He hates children.

All the pieces matter and it adds up to a picture of a bad hombre.

No. I think he did it because he detests Khalil Mack.

Coward is too strong. Anyways, what do you care what these guys say after the games? You know it's all scripted and prepared bullshit, right? Do you want him to tell you the truth? Because that's not going to happen. Only thing I can't defend is that he does seem to take plays off, but I bet there are many other high-payed players like him doing that, or retiring early if they can.

Mack wants to get paid and he got paid and that’s all he gives a shit about.

Maybe he is a Jehova's Witness and correctly refuses to go along with this pagan celebration. His Wikipedia says he is an active Christian, whatever that means. That is the more likely explanation rather than he hired a guy to stand out in front of his house and tell people to scram rather than giving the guy a bag of candy to pass out.

Why does Favre want to inhibit his practice of religion? Does he hate the Constitution?

Wait, so providing placated answers to the media equates to leadership? Cutler did that, but no one considers him a leader. In fact, I see Mack as more of a leader by avoiding the ridiculousness of reporter interviews. MANY reporters are simply out to get a response they can take out of context and sell ads. It's certainly not cowardly.

The Halloween candy story is the same character attack bullshit that was pulled on Phil Kessel. One of the Toronto reporters didn't like Phil so they put out a story on how he stopped at a hot dog vendor every day on the way to the game, as if that resulted in him being overweight and a worse player. Mack isn't the only one not handing out candy, but given the state of affairs it was an easy target for character assassination. Still don't see how this makes him a worse pass rusher.

All of that said, yeah, he's out to get paid. I get it. And so are most other athletes. None of this would be an issue of Pace doesn't draft a siv for quarterback.
