This was posted by "Jen" on the Tribune response board for Teddy's latest column (really, I'm not making it up). Man, eggplants and their IQ's are getting a bad name these days--first Jesse, now Jen:

Ya know what, I dont blame Jen for taking the job. She is working at Gibsons, making no money and some dope walks in and offers you a break, anyone would take the offer if it meant getting your foot in the door to do something that will get one further down the road to success.

Is Jen great at what she does? I dont know, I dont work with her, but I will give her the fact that she is dragging her ass into work everyday at 5am and appears to put in a effort.

Anyone that wanted to be in that business would take the job.

It's like getting into Pro Sports. You are willing to clean up the pig sized rats under the RF bleachers just to get your foot in the door.

She seems to be very responsible , organized, on time, etc. Hell I should hire her.

However, the Morning show could use a Creative element that it totally lacks.

Right! I would suppose thats one of the hangups in his contract. No one with a brain would give the guy a show that he controls totally, I think we all agree on that.

And me, nothing but love for you, RV. In fact , this is a virtual love fest around here . . . oops, sorry, the giddiness over North's possible departure may have fueled some hidden, and heretofore unknown, romantic impulses in me . . . excuse me, I better hop over to the Sports Babes section . . .

Actually I'm pretty sure a full time waiter at Gibsons or any fancy overpriced joint makes more than 50k a year. These waiters at fancy restaurants avg about $50+/hr.
