Lavine will take heat for having a subpar offensive game but it was the guys that everyone seems to love on here that were getting killed on defense.

What are you talking about? Charlotte had guys hitting wide open 3’s all damn night and you think the C and PF are mainly responsible?

Lavine was in foul trouble all game and as Funk and King put it... was playing defense like he didn't want to get near opposing players. King suggested before the half that Lavine needed to be benched for the remainder of the half - he ended up sitting with 3 minutes left.

When Lavine isn't rotating or going to help when the play calls for it...not sure it's always on his teammates. Especially when he already has the reputation.

He did what guys that have 3 early fouls do. Stay away from the 4th one

I saw quite a few late closeouts by Lauri Lauri Markkanen and at the end of the day Washington and Williams were his covers. Not Lavine's and it convenient to place blame on him because of his reputation but he wasn't the reason they lost.

Guys that score like he scores do not come around very often and he is a supreme value at the price they signed him at.

I mean driving for a layup when down 3 with less than 5 seconds left is pretty bad.

Everyone sucked on defense last night. Its obviously not a big concern for Boylen.

Lavine will be fine. He even managed a decent game despite struggling early.

For a guy reputed to be a defensive coach Boylen's schemes are terrible. He has them switch everything that is why there are mismatches all over the place all the time.

Yes if its there man that's doing the hitting. Whose man is it supposed to be if not theirs?

Williams and Washington who? Were a combined 12-18 from 3 and we are focusing on Zach Lavine. Thats where the game was lost.

Boylen still has the worse offense in the NBA. That weird ass white guy Barago(?) Hornets head coach had a bunch of nobodys getting wide open in a fluid offense. Oh and he's a joke with his defense too. Bulls could have a very good defense with Wendell Carter owning the paint. I can't believe they went witht his fucking clown

Devonte Graham was 6-7 from 3.

Lauri put up 35 and 17 and consistently kept them in the game when everyone else on the team couldn't do shit and you want me to criticize him over Lavine who went 7-17 while playing no defense and making the dumbest play I've seen in awhile by taking that layup with 4 seconds left? Not gonna happen.

He scored 35 and a rookie that 90% of the people commenting had not heard of scored 27. His replacement went 5 for 7 from the field. In the early stages of the game P.J. Washington was nailing 3's and Cody Zeller was running down the lane dunking on people

Graham got off during the 2nd half most likely because guys had to all of a sudden start helping to cover for the weaknesses of the Bulls bigs.

And i say this as a Markannen fan. From the beginning. Check the tape.

You can't allow guys like P.J. Washington go off on you if you want to be elite.

12th pick in the draft and UK's top scorer last season and 90% of us haven't heard of him?

Don't project yourself onto the rest of us.

You just googled that and can you provide any evidence (might as well stop here) of you touting the kid prior to last night?

I certainly Googled that he was 12th and not 11th or 13th. You got something right for once.

You'd never heard of him either. I don't watch college as its a shitty product. No news there.

Quick search reveals that there wasn't one mention of the kid by you. Again shocking.

You are a hack and a joke there isn't one person here that respects your inane thoughts.

You try to disguise your stupidity with meatballing and trolling but people here have figured that out by now.

You just brought up the term evidence. Set up a poll.

You've already made it abundantly clear that your only social interactions and sports discussion happens on this forum. You've accused others on this board, countless times, of not having certain thoughts because they weren't documented in a post. That speaks volumes as to the level of your interaction outside this board.

Can I be both narcissistic and insecure? That seems to conflict, but this board has accused me of both.

Maybe it cancels out and I'm just a regular, but super cool, individual.

If you actually knew anything then you'd know that the baseline for narcissism is insecurity. Do a little reasearch then get back at me.

At their core narcissists are insecure. Its their way of trying to disguise their insecurities.

Not really as there are a certain segment of people here that is incapable of doing that. Imu doesn't know enough about Lavine or the NBA to tell you why Lavine is bad.

He will try and "analytic" his way through as a way of hiding it.

Lavine is an elite scorer and those sort of guys don't come around that often.

For $19 mil a year that is a bargain. I provided a list of all the guys that make near or equal to what he makes and none are classified as elite scorers.

They are either role players as starters or bench players.

He is also 24 years old. Even if he isn't a first option he is easily a 2nd. They'd be silly to give up on him now.

he is what he is. if he's your #1 you have major problems. He's been in the league what, 5 years? has he learned one thing yet?

He has learned how to score. He isn't being paid superstar money. The guy closest to him salary wise are guys like Evan Turner and Kent Bazemore. Would you rather have them than Zach Lavine?

I know i wouldn't.

He also is the Bull most likely to make the All Star team this season.

Of all Bulls players this season receiving regular minutes, Zach Lavine has the absolute worst difference in +/- per 100 possessions between when he is on the court and not.

The Bulls are a VASTLY better team when he sits.

Coby White is the man, as both the eye test and stats would tell you.

And Minnesota, Philly, and Miami are a combined 8-1 with Jimmy Butler sitting.

Further evidence that your eye test isn't worth much of shit.

This is what your eyetest gets everyone.

One guy (White) that isn't a point and another (Sato) with numbers worse than the guy playing behind him.

Dunn has been playing SG and SF, and the Bulls have been getting outscored when Arcidiacono plays the point.

Coby White has played the best at PG.

Numbers don't lie.

You once thought Etwaun was a point   when i told you he wasn't.

Only to laud him (And congratulate yourself) for starting later   as the wing i always told you that he happened to be.

Your track record id'ing who is and isn't a point isn't exactly the best.

Chris Paul and James Harden almost beat GS last year. Then Paul got hurt.

Warriors didn't have Iggy, and Chris Paul wants out of Houston now.

Not exactly a long, successful partnership with Harden.

And Harden is hardly a PG.
