Nagy didn't even see that his team was better in the I formation, it's basic football, RB get to run downhill, cut off blocks. Nagy seems determined to run all kinds of pre snap motion which he feels confused the D, but most often leads the D right to the play, and his QB always makes the wrong read on the RPO, kinda hard to run your base offense when the QB makes the wrong decision. When they are in the I he's on the move a little and seems to do better than just standing still after taking shotgun snap.

It's baffling as to why Nagy doesn't allow Mitch to play to his strength which is being on the move when he passes. They need to turn him into a pocket passer so he doesn't get injured? So let him get injured. Nagy and Pace should have known and accepted Mitch's strengths when they drafted him and not think themselves football geniuses who can outsmart the game. What value does he have as an uninjured QB that can't throw a football?

This Jerry McDonald dude is a dumbass. The bears playoff run was fueled by Mack and the defense last year. That alone justified the Mack investment. Their failures this year are on the offense. The investment is still paying dividends on defense. Fucking dumbass.

Jacobs looks pretty good. Mack costs as much as a decent QB and disappears regularly and the excuses are he’s not in game shape even though he’s five years into his career.

I wanted Mack on GB and would’ve paid a similar price. But without a QB this looks like a disaster of a trade for the Bears. He’s now essentially a much higher paid version of the Jamal Adams/Jets problem.

No chance this trade is a disaster. The defense has proven to be elite and Mack is probably the biggest reason why. Mack is still in his prime years and will be a major contributor on a great defense for the next two years at least barring injury. You don't have to win a Super Bowl to justify a trade. The fact is the Bears are much better than they would have been the past two years without that trade.
