This must be of concern to someone in the league office.

I was surprised to see a number of empty seats yesterday in the upper regions of Soldier Field.

The Jags and Falcons games were ghost towns. Jets were not much better

I honestly don't know why anyone would want to go to a football game. Much better to just watch at home.

Yup Frankie. The tailgates are fun, but the game is better on tv.

Yeah, I missed Johnson on the OUT list.

I still wouldn't have had enough points to beat you.

Maybe next year I'll get a heads up that the day of the draft changed.

Couldn't agree more, I wouldn't go for free tickets and free beer.

The NHL still relies heavily on gate revenue, hence the disparity between Toronto/Montreal/Philadelphia and, say, Phoenix/Florida.

Free beer? If you let me sit parallel to the action on each snap approximately ten rows up AND free beer AND peanuts I'm in.

The thought of the Raiders being a dome team is maybe the most galling part of the Las Vegas move. Both Coliseums were the oldest of old-school. Sometimes Oakland had dirt.

Yeah probably figure empty paid for seats still make more money than discounted tickets that include parking and concessions.

Raider Cody, too.

Tailgating is the best part of attending live football. If you have centrally located seats, even in the bleeders, it's a great experience. You can see plays develop. However it's such an exhausting day. You have to go in knowing your Sunday is totally shot.

The camera angles used on TV are the biggest issue with broadcasted football. They miss so much of the action. But watching on TV is so damn convenient. Better food, easier to piss and switch the game if current one sucks

Of course you would.

Being a convicted felon is a prerequisite to being a Raider fan.

Last time I went to an NFL game was a November 1996 battle between Dave Krieg and Scott Mitchell.

Hell, in the great old days it was damn near a prerequisite to being a Raider.

Villapiano, Tatum and a dozen plus others immediately come to mind.

Watching my jock sons and their teammates not really interested like before and after 12 years of following them around, plus crazy cable costs, I tend to agree.

It isn't must see programming like the old days either.

Especially in the winter.

I have a junior high kid. He kinda liked watching basketball for a few months 5 years ago and he stopped wanting to play sports not long after then. I should probably get a DNA test.
