Hello everyone,

I am now done at the Score. I met with management this past Friday and since I wouldn't accept the deal they offered; they told me I wasn't allowed to be on the air anymore. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye so here it goes...


I wanted to say my 16 1/2 years with the Score were awesome. When I was on the air, it was unreal. To be able to entertain, have fun, and sometimes get serious... well you never knew what would happen on a daily basis. I want to thank all the listeners and callers who not only laughed at me but with me. I heard from a lot of you over the years, and good or bad, I always welcomed your comments. To do radio in my hometown at such a great station was an honor. To all the people I used to work with and I work with now, I say thank you. To the advertisers on my show and on the station who were always with me thank you for being there. Without you, there is no station. The sales staff at the Score was always second to none; we made some bucks together. Thanks to you guys too.




You'll be hearing from us real soon. Keep your eyes and ears open and stay tuned.

It would somehow be fitting if jen posted a fake email believing it was purportedly from Pappy, just as Pappy posted a fake email purportedly from Teddy. Now all we need is for Teddy to report in the newspaper the fake email from Pappy to Jen to complete the cycle.

Someone asked why would Jen post a message from Mike before Mike or the Score made it official themselves? Who has ever accused her of understanding business protocol?

I don't know if it's real or not. I do think that Doug is holding out on us though. He's "friends" with Jen Jen and gets her super secret email blurbs? What else does he get? Spill it Doug

I'd like to give credit to the Score but can't. Pappy just fucked up by turning this down. It's not like they low balled him and he had to refuse. If the 800k is correct then Pappy is just stupid. Regardless of what time slot or conditions that would be imposed.

I have a suspision that the 800k that's been reported isn't correct. Maybe it was lower. If so then I'll give credit to the Score. I can't see Pappy making 800k in middays if that was the Score's intent.

Maybe it was 800k only if he stayed in morinings and less if they moved him. Pappy knew he would be moved.

I don't think North was thrilled about a pay cut, whether it was $500,000, $750,000 or whatever amount "The SCORE" was offering below the $1.5 million he was earning. I was under the impression also that North was using other radio stations' supposed interest in his services as leverage in hopes of jacking up WSCR's offer. If this is indeed it, I have no idea where Mike will land. I don't think North will resurface on any other radio station here. Honest.

I'd laugh my ass off if Northy was throwing this out there for Teddy G to pick up as fact.
