My partner who is in prison used to do shit like that. We'd hammer out an entire fucking deal, I'd be in there getting contentious and making enemies, we'd finally have an agreement and everyone was slowly getting over their butthurt. Then this guy would ask for a "sweetener". That's what he called it. I told him to stop embarrassing me. When I shake on a deal, it's a deal.

That one's on the union heads as most of what they achieved was there on Day 1. I think everything else was under agreement by early last week. Great, you held out and lost your members pay.

Management is thrilled because from their perspective they grew the union in size with the nurses and mental health hirings. It cost current members a week+ of salary but hey, individuals have to make sacrifices for the greater good
