What other QBs with 6 SB rings would you prefer?

Numbers lie

Montana
Marino
Staubach
Graham
For the win, I'd take Snake and Plunkett.

Rodgers, Mahomes and Watson are more talented as well.

And needing a hail Mary I'd look to Favre.

Brady went down and NE went 10-6..the coaching-system is a Huge factor

Since we've crossed into other positions, I'd love to see Jim Brown in his prime play in today's game. I wonder whether he would be an equal to today's athletes which is why he was so much better than those he competed against, or if the training/nutrition, etc of today would make him even a cut above today's players. Clearly, he had the mental makeup to dominate, size speed and vision to destroy.

I think Marino is similar, in today's rule world, his receivers would be even more open more often.

They didn’t get anywhere near a Super Bowl that year, Brady is a huge factor too.

Montana went down and San Fran didn’t miss a beat because of Young, when Young went down San Fran looked good because they had.. Steve Bono.. when Brees goes down the Saints still look good.. none of this means guys like Montana, and Young, and Brees aren’t good. If these QB’s don’t play on good teams they’re Dan Marino. Give them good teams and good coaching (Shula was passed his prime imo) then they win consistently. Rodgers missed the damn playoffs 2 years in a row according to most because he didn’t have the right coach, and if Rodgers isn’t a measuring stick for QB talent who the fuck is?

lol @ talking shit about Brady then hauling Montana up on your shoulders.. every asterisk you can throw next to Brady to diminish his accomplishments you can toss next to Montana’s.. played for one of the greatest coaches of all time check, system QB check, great front office that made great moves check .. and then you get to the fact that Montana had the greatest WR in the history of the game to throw to for most of his career and a team that had no where near the same turnover Brady has had to deal with..

No.. they were 11-5 the year before. Brady is great, he's just not as great as Rodgers.

No doubt, the lack of hall of fame talent around him, mainly RB's but also WR's. is stunning.
