I'm not a college guy but reading through those threads it appears that (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky was seen as the best quarterback in the draft by MANY "experts" before the combine. Apparently his combine performance just reinforced that.

(Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky wasn't a turnover machine in college and as awful as he has been this season he still hasn't been a turnover machine. The data says that you can count on him if you are tied or down on your last drive of the game. According to everyone in the building he works his ass off. He just takes than most to understand some things.

Of course he doesn't have a lot of turnovers. He doesn't throw the ball downfield. He has to be a game manager to keep the team in any kind of competitive offensive situation.

Correct. He throws five yard slants or screens all dam day. He should have ZERO turnovers.

That is because it was 10 yards over the receivers head 90% of the time.

Maybe if you're a halfback or a lineman sure but there are not many great stupid quarterbacks.
Mitchs problem is between his ears. I'm not sure if it's a mental block or if it's a lack of intelligence yet but dumb is gaining on mental block coming out of the last turn.
