FAA Status: Advisory

Due to WEATHER / SNOW-ICE, there is a Traffic Management Program in effect for traffic arriving Chicago OHare International Airport, Chicago, IL (ORD). This is causing some arriving flights to be delayed an average of 4 hours and 57 minutes.

Snow has severely slowed up north. 2-3 inches max. Another false alarm. May not even be worth getting the snowblower out and just shoveling this round.

My brother-in-law was a commercial pilot fresh out of the Navy back in the early 80’s. On one of his first flights he was a co-pilot to a woman captain. She had him land the plane and his aircraft carrier instincts took over and he slammed it down. He said he overheard some guys loudly talking as they left the plane saying “must have been that woman pilot”, severely bruising his macho ego.
