Just saw the video. I probably should have watched it before posting. It was definitely a little unnecessary for a weak attempt by the student to punch the teacher. The teacher probably shouldn't have been that close to begin with.

And a teacher shouldn't be stomping on student's head unless they are shooting up the school.

We sure the student 'swung' first? Tough to tell from that video, but it appears the teacher sets a phone down on the desk behind her before she opens up her can of whoop ass. Could it be that the student was just trying to grab his/her phone back? Can't tell for sure, but I'd say that is at least plausible.

I'm in complete agreement with you on that. As an adult and as a professional you probably should attempt to avoid a situation like that. Walking up to her desk probably wasn't the best way to avoid confrontation.

I love how the kid says something along the lines of "We were just sitting there and she started swearing at us." The father was shocked that a 16 year old kid could say or do something that would make an adult molly whop their ass.
