While Jay Mariotti is a complete tool that does not excuse the fact that this is a good summary of what Mike North's career has been, by the way it's crap.

North always ripped on Jay for not being able to hold a Radio job, but I always felt North pretty much disregarded the TV gig Jay has. It is a pretty good one. Not a ton of time to prepare, makes him look pretty good and it is national. Thus national guys says good things about you.

One of the few times I agree with the Moron. North buried himself with his past two years of contrived and forced issues. For me the nail-in-the-coffin issue was his whole "You don't talk down to me," rant at Ozzie Guillen, showing up that afternoon during press time in the Clubhouse with brownies to make up with the Sox; just a few days prior to trying out for Don Imus' old gig.
