I know that you are trolling but it football. This type of shit happens. I would rather someone try to hit me with a helmet instead of spitting on me.

I don't watch EVERY SINGLE NFL AND COLLEGE GAME on the weekends like FavreFan, but I don't recall seeing alot of instances of an opposing player ripping another players helmet off and using it as a weapon.

I'd like to think after the game, Mason Rudolph and Myles Garrett had dinner together at Buffalo Wild Wings.

DeCastro pushed Garrett well away from the first scuffle and Rudolph came running back to restart it imho, a patriot.

Can't wait for your reasoning for Rudolph getting pushed down from behind.

Thai should be good.

That happened after the fact and while a chicken shit like Pouncey was swinging on and kicking a defenseless guy flat on the ground.

There are no innocent actors here, except DeCastro.

If you turn your back, you may get jacked!

The NFL has indefinitely suspended Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett for hitting Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph in the head with his helmet during Thursday night's game.

In addition, Steelers lineman Maurkice Pouncey has been suspended three games and Browns lineman Larry Ogunjobi for one game.

Rudolph has been banned for the remainder of the regular season and postseason, the NFL said. He also must meet with the commissioner's office prior to being reinstated next season.

All three players have been fined.

He's totally done for this year including any play off games.

They will sit down before next year and have a chat with him and go from there.

Garrett's suspension is the longest in NFL history for a single on-field incident.

In a statement, the NFL said that Garrett "violated unnecessary roughness and unsportsmanlike conduct rules, as well as fighting, removing the helmet of an opponent and using the helmet as a weapon."

The NFL also suspended Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi one game for pushing Rudolph in the back to the ground shortly after Garrett had slugged the Steelers quarterback in the head with the helmet. Pittsburgh center Maurkice Pouncey, who jumped into Garrett, kicking and punching him after Rudolph had been struck, was suspended three games.

All three players -- who were ejected from Thursday's game -- are suspended without pay and will be fined. In addition, the NFL has fined the Browns and Steelers organizations $250,000 each for the incident.

"What I did was foolish, and I shouldn't allow myself to slip like that," Garrett said afterward. "That's out of character, but a situation like that where it's an emotional game, and I allowed myself to fall into those emotions with what happened."

Browns owners Jimmy and Dee Haslam issued a statement shortly after the NFL's ruling.

Definitely ban Mason Rudolph. Rudolph's presence on the field is an affront to football and drives the other players into a frenzy.

I don't see how they can have a rule about "Use of helmet as a weapon" in the rule-book with a stated penalty for violating that rule and assign a penalty greater than the penalty designated in the rule-book. If the NFL won't even follow their own rule-book what's the point of having rules. Might as well tro da book in a fire and govern by commissioner fiat.

It seems like the Packers green has gotten lighter over the years, like the loafers of their qb.

That dark forest green was a better look than the current relish green

Pretty sure "use of helmet as a weapon" assumes the one directly on your head.

There should be a gif of Garrett conking Rudolph over the head with his own helmet next to it.
