Honestly though it is disappointing that the Bears couldn't hold up their end of the bargain on both teams being good for the first time since 2010. Just a one year wonder smh

I actually enjoy the Packers meatballs going nuts on here like Zippy, FF, and Kirkwood because for the first time in a long time the Packers are actually really good.

Careful Rick. We aren’t Vikings fans. I don’t think you wanna do the recent success comparison with us you tried with IMU.
The Packers have been better but this is the first year they've been really good since 2011. 2014 maybe if you think the Bears were really good last year as they had the same record.

I'm talking about the regular season here. The Raiders are 5-4. The Packers are 8-2.

Good for you. I'm just talking about good teams and saying I was hoping the Bears and Packers would finally be good at the same time again. Your replies to that have been a little nonsensical.

And lost.

Not since the 1969 Cubs has any pro sports team done less with more than the Aaron Rodgers' Packers.

Yeah that's just dumb but I know it's really your only go-to when trying to insult the Packers. You would trade the Bears "success" for the Packers success in a second and I of course wouldn't. Because of that, that type of remark just rings hollow.

The Bears have largely been awful since their Super Bowl appearance. That doesn't take away from the fact that Rodgers is probably going to go down as second or third best QB to ever play the game, and his only Super Bowl appearance was due to a Cutler knee injury.

Nobody has done less with more.

It's not. The Packers have had the best or second best QB in the game taking nearly every snap for them over the past 13 years. Rodgers has played in as many Super Bowls as Rex Grossman has. Poster child for underachievement.

I said I wanted the Bears and Packers to be good at the same time and it was disappointing they weren't because Chicago couldn't hold up their end. You responded nonsensically by saying the Packers haven't been really good (you modified the qualifier to really to help your point) in a long time, and after you were proven incorrect you responded nonsensically about only talking about regular season, which nobody had specified up to that point.

Hope that helps.

Rodgers has won a Super Bowl. It's really hard to win a Super Bowl, as evidenced by your team not having won one since you were still in diapers. There's nothing you can say that will get me to think "Ah shit, it really sucks I've only seen the Packers win TWO Super Bowls by the time I was 25".

Why bring up Farve's Super Bowl? That has nothing to do with Rodger's career achievement of playing in one Super Bowl.

All my responses included the exact quote I was responding to. However, for the bolded content.

The Raiders are basically the same as 15 other NFL teams that aren't that good but they aren't that bad so they get to be in a playoff hunt.

I was talking about the Packers this year so that means the regular season. The Packers this year are clearly better than 2014 and 2016.

But ultimately, the point is the 5-4 Raiders aren't worth bragging about.

It goes to show how ridiculous your argument is. You sound as arrogant as a Pats fan but you’re a Bears fan. You’re trying to argue Rodgers should have had more success when he’s already absolutely owned your team throughout his career

And Favre owned you guys as well.

You should take Frank Drebin’s advice. He’s trying to help you.

I'm not arguing Rodgers should have more success. I'm saying he definitely should have more January and February success.

Outside of last season, beating the Bears is not something that has been hard to do for the better part of the last 5-6 seasons.

You keep spinning this around to try and bash the Bears. I know my team hasn't won in forever. They were the NFC Browns for like 4 years before Nagy took over. I'm not talking about regular season. It's hard to make and win a Super Bowl for sure. Its a hellava lot easier when you have the second best QB ever taking snaps.

In this day and age where passing is everything and QBs can barely get touched, nobody has done less with a HOF career than the Packers with Aaron Rodgers. Nobody.

That's just wrong. Look at Drew Brees. You're either trolling poorly or Brady and the Pats have completely clouded your ability to view the NFL. You're not supposed to win 3-4 Super Bowls even with a HOF QB. It very rarely happens. Rodgers has one. Favre has one. Marino has zero. Brees has one. Steve Young has one. Peyton only had one up until his last season when he was worse than Trent Dilfer and got carried to one by Denver's defense. Elway had 0 when he was Rodgers current age.

Are you starting to get it now?

And Rodgers isn't done yet.

Rodgers > Brees. And Brees isn't done yet.

Peyton Manning played in four Super Bowls.
Jim Kelly played in four consecutive Super Bowls
Steve Young has three Super Bowl rings because he was the backup to perhaps the great post season QB ever.
John Elway played in five Super Bowls.

I don't consider Rodgers the GOAT and haven't since like 2011. I also think a lot of people would disagree with you that he's clearly superior to Brees all time. They're both two of the greatest ever and instant first ballot HOFers. But you don't want to believe that because it destroys your narrative.

Also, just a pro-tip, if you have to quote your own post and say "This guy gets it", you probably don't get it.

Pretty sure the Packers would be a Jeff Fischer-esque 7 and 9 for the past decade but for Rodgers.

Brees should be more successful than Rodgers considering the tools Brees had to work with over the same span.

Nah, you're the guy who isn't getting it FF. But its my fault for even taking it this far. I posted stats yesterday that showed Dix was better than Amos and you literally said, "Dix is worse."

So we'll just leave it as you don't get it.

Now SS is telling you that you are wrong. How many people other than myself will it take?

I'm sorry you don't hold the GOATs to a higher standard.

Brees should be more successful than Rodgers considering the tools Brees had to work with over the same span.

Maybe. Brees has gotten fucked pretty badly the last two years in the Playoffs. Rodgers really only has the Bostick botched onside kick thing that was on par with those two losses.
