I don't consider Rodgers the GOAT and haven't since like 2011. I also think a lot of people would disagree with you that he's clearly superior to Brees all time. They're both two of the greatest ever and instant first ballot HOFers. But you don't want to believe that because it destroys your narrative.

Also, just a pro-tip, if you have to quote your own post and say "This guy gets it", you probably don't get it.

Brees should be more successful than Rodgers considering the tools Brees had to work with over the same span.
Has Brees really had better tools? It's not like anyone has left the Saints offense and been great that I can remember. Even Jimmy Graham's 4 best career seasons were in NO with his numbers being way down the rest of his career.

Mack has played pretty well this year, but definitely needs to be better. Show up on the stat sheet and make some impact plays.

He should be ripe to do just that on Sunday Night. He has been insane for the Bears in Primetime. It's still a pretty fucking good trade.

Nick Williams has benefitted from the attention given to Mack; if Floyd was more consistent, perhaps Mack would have more opportunities.

I think they are roughly similar although I think you would agree Payton is a big advantage over Mike McCarthy.

Do you think Brees has underachieved to a historic degree? Do you think Rodgers has? I'm trying to find at least one person who shares Frank's insanity on this topic.

He did remember what a running back is on the field for. McCarthy ventured too much into Reid/Nagy territory in respect to the running game.

I'm not turning on a Bears fan when you seem to have adopted Furious Styles into your Bears hater club even though he clearly hasn't earned it.

I will say it would be mildly disappointing to only get one Super Bowl victory with a top ten quarterback in league history but I can't really call it underachieving to do so.

Brees had prime Jimmy Graham, Marques Colston, Mark Ingram, Brandon Cooks, Kamara, Michael Thomas, etc.

You said yourself the Packers suck and only win because the refs bail them out. So what are you doing now saying their teams are stockes with perennial all-pros?

I was making a one and done joke. Calm down.

And I never said the packers "only" win because of the referees. I said they get the benefit of calls almost every game.

There comes a point where you have to question whether Brees made them good or the Saints are the luckiest team in the world in that all these picks where most of them weren't even first round picks become elite talents who happen to be less than elite as soon as they leave.

Michael Thomas didn't seem to miss a beat with Teddy at QB. I think it's fair to say he's pretty good.

Did I say they suck? Did I say they had a bunch of nobodies?

No, I did not. Respond to the post, not the poster.

I did state, correctly, that in this pass-happy present day NFL, no team has done less with more than the Packers with Aaron Rodgers.

I think it's fair to credit the front office a bit. I do think Brees deserves credit too but like I said I think it's fair to say Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara would be pretty good on other teams too.

The Saints have done about the same with Brees. The Chargers have had some loaded teams over the past 12 years and have done even less. Your premise is ridiculous and has been debunked repeatedly in this thread today.

Manning and the Colts played in two Super Bowls over a four year stretch.

Frank is reserving the right to move any and all goalposts during this discussion. The point is Packers fans should feel miserable because they've only seen two Super Bowl wins in their lifetime.

Quiet, FF. You are the one who brought up the Bears and Favre which have nothing to do with this.

Frank is saying that the second best QB to ever play in the NFL playing in only one Super Bowl is an underachievement.

Spiral clearly missed or ignored my post earlier where I point out that Manning* played in four Super Bowls.

It’s cool you think Aaron Rodgers is the 2nd best QB of all time and his greatness is worthy of additional Super Bowl titles. I’m just happy to have seen a couple in my lifetime and to have GB be good for 90% of the seasons they’ve played in my lifetime. Maybe my standards are too low and I should be upset that they aren’t Tom Brady and the Patriots instead of being happy they aren’t Mitch and the Bears.

You think there's a conspiracy by the refs to favor the packers?
