Not having to listing to Mitch do the mandatory midweek starting QB press conference. He doesn't exactly come across as a Mensa member.

When we suck we'll actually have a high 1st round pick to show for it. Hopefully.

The best thing about next year will be the RAIDERS owning 3 of the Bears draft picks and a shit-ton of cap space.

The RAIDERS own two picks of the Bears, and moved down a round for one of them.

Nothing good will happen next season. Earliest Ryan Pace gets fired is after the 2020 season.
Nagy will have too many years left on his contract to be fired.
The team still will not have a franchise QB.

Next year will suck.

OAK owns the Bears first, third (really more like a 2nd!) and seventh round picks in 2020. Also, shit-ton of available cap space.

Well, then the Bears own the Raiders second round pick and a moderate-ton of available cap space.

Incorrect.

From the Mack trade;

The Raiders have the Bears 1st round and 3rd round pick in 2020. There is also a conditional 5th round pick which the Raiders may or may not end up owning. The Bears own the Raiders 2nd round pick of 2020.

The Raiders 7th round pick you speak of is the in the 2021 draft that was acquired in the Eddy Piniero trade.

They are set up real nice, got a sharp GM who can draft. I love Jacobs.

The best thing about next year is Mitch won't be handed the job..there will be a competition between 3 guys..no more Bray and Daniel.

During the Bengals game they showed Mayock up in the box watching. He was standing up with his hands on his knees like he was on the sideline. He's been spotted at OSU and Boise State games this season so he's making the effort to see players live. His energy level is a welcome change from the Mckenzie era.

What makes you think this? I bet you it's (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. They're gonna continue to invest in the sunk cost that is (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky. They'll bring in some chase Daniels 2.0 guy for the appearance of a competition and then (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky will "win".

The Bears shore-up the O-line through the draft and free agency (OT Trent Williams) and hire a QB whisperer for Mitch in Gary Kubiak, signing him away from Minnesota.

Forte comes back on a one-year deal and his leadership inspires the whole team, especially Mitch.

Nagy devises his version of the West Coast offense for Mitch in the off-season and it's effective in getting Mitch back on track. In preparation, Mitch watches tons of tape on Favre at GB.

I think behind closed doors Nagy and Pace have agreed that Mitch isn't the guy. I think they are drafting a QB next draft and this May they choose not to pick up (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky option on 5th year.

I'm going in the other direction. The narrative will be Mitch was hampered by injuries and a poor offensive line play, and that accounts for the regression. He deserves a new start with different tools and a revampled playbook that takes advantage of his strengths. We'll go 1-3 to start the season and everyone will be clamoring for the backup.

This would be very Bears-like. If that happens, it's clear the McCLASKEYs are meddling in football decisions.

Despite his own own shortcomings as a head coach and offensive play caller....Nagy has made it clear Mitch is not his guy and needs a different QB.

To be fair, like the 2020 quasi 2nd round pick, the 2021 7th round pick will be more like a 6th.
